Swarms of locusts -- short-horned grasshopper normally effects the agriculture crops all over the world. Currently the whole world is busy in defeating corona virus. Pakistan is also fighting with corona virus. But Pakistan is also with locust’s attach. The locusts that attach in Pakistan are commonly known as desert locusts. They are mainly originated from desert and can feed on anything from leaves to hard bark of trees. The locusts entered from the adjacent country Iran into Baluchistan and then all over the Pakistan. These locusts attached more than 60 districts all over the Pakistan. These locusts can travel up to 149 km per day. It is an alarming situation for economy of Pakistan. According to FAO report Pakistan may suffer 600 billion losses due to locust’s attach. Pakistani Govt is fighting to stop second wave of locust’s attach. Long cold and moist winter provide feasible environment for the breeding of locusts. Now more than 38% of Pakistani ground is feasible for locusts breeding. Second wave of locust attach will effect each and every person in Pakistan. An under development country already fighting with corona cannot bear the second attack of locusts.
